Guia Assistant Manager, Disclosure Department Gentlemen: Please be informed that the Board of Directors of Uniwide Holdings, Inc. decided to transfer the Annual Stockholders' Meeting to sometime during the first quarter of 2000 instead of October 1, 1999, because of the pendency of the Company's "Petition for the Declaration of Suspension of Payment, Formation and Appointment of a Rehabilitation Receiver/Committee and Approval of Rehabilitation Plan" that has yet to be completely resolved by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
