Grace de Guia Assistant Manager, Disclosure Department Gentleman: This refers to your fax message received by us this morning, concerning a news article captioned "Gatchalian Eyeing Tie-up with Las Vegas Casino Firm" which appeared in today's issue of Business World. Please be informed that preliminary discussions between Waterfront Philippines, Inc. (WPI) and potential investor groups including Las Vegas casino operators are ongoing. Although we are hoping for a possible tie-up with any of these investors, no definite agreement has been reached by WPI with any of such operators. With response to the Palawan property, we understand that the same will not be folded into WPI but would instead be held by another company.
