Exchange Road, Ortigas Centre Pasig City Dear Ms. Garcia, Pursuant to the disclosure requirements of the Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc., please be informed that the Board of Directors in a meeting held this afternoon approved: 1. The change in the date of the Annual Stockholders Meeting from Wednesday, May 6, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. to TUESDAY, MAY 5, 1998 at 10 : 00 a . m .; and 2. The change in the record date from April 7, 1998 to APRIL 6, 1998 .
