October 19, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2387-98 SUBJECT : Abra Mining and Industrial Corporation Abra Mining and Industrial Corporation ("AR") furnished the Exchange on October 15, 1998 a copy of its letter addressed to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) informing about the Board Resolution on the postponement of its Annual General Stockholders' Meeting scheduled for October 28, 1998 at 4:00 in the afternoon. The Board of Directors, in its meeting held on October 15, 1998, decided to postpone the said meeting to a future date due to the inclement weather condition compounded by typhoon Iliang which has made travel very inconvenient and attaining a quorum difficult.
