Buenventura Supervisor, Disclosure Department RE : Fil-Estate Corporation Gentlemen : In response to your inquiry dated September 16, 1999 we would like to provide some clarificatory points relating to an article entitled "Fil-Estate group bags deal to develop, lease Poro Point" which appeared in today's issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. llcd The article correctly pointed out that the Poro Point project initiative is being undertaken through another Fil-Estate-related entity, Camp John Hay Development Corporation (CJHDevCo). We understand that CJHDevCo, together with the other consortium members, is involved in a masterplanning study covering the Poro Point property. Once completed, the results of such study will be presented to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) for final acceptance. in this regard, the actual commercial terms and parameters of the project are not yet currently determinable.
