October 8, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2330-98 SUBJECT : Planters Development Bank Suspension of Trading and Delisting of Preferred "C" Shares Please be informed that on October 7, 1998, the Exchange approved the request of PLANTERS DEVELOPMENT BANK (the "Bank") to suspend the trading of its Preferred "C" shares beginning at the close of trading on October 23, 1998 in order to facilitate the efficient preparation of all the necessary records and documents and to prevent any confusion with respect to the holders entitled to the conversion or redemption of the shares. LLjur Furthermore, the Exchange noted the delisting of the Bank's Preferred "C" shares upon completion of the conversion or redemption of all outstanding Preferred "C" shares. In view thereof, the suspension of trading of the Bank's Preferred "C" shares shall commence at the close of trading on October 23, 1998 and the said shares shall automatically be delisted on November 3, 1998 .
