Javier resigned as Executive Vice-President & General Manager of Alsons Cement Corporation. Effective as of the same date, Mr. Javier has resigned from his concurrent positions in the subsidiaries of Alsons Cement Corporation, to wit: as Executive Vice President of Iligan Cement Corporation, as President of Northern Mindanao Transport Co., Inc., as Executive Vice President of Bulkcem Philippines, Inc., as Executive Vice President of Calamba Aggregates Co., Inc. and Alsons Construction Chemicals, Inc., Mr. Javier's resignation is not a result of any disagreement with the registrant (Alsons Cement Corporation) on any matter relating to the registrant's operations, policies or practices.
