Ong Vice President Gentlemen : In compliance with the Continuing Listing Requirements of the Philippine Stock Exchange, we wish to advise you that during its meeting held on 30 September 1998, the Board of Directors of Guoco Holdings (Philippines), Inc . approved the financial accounts of the Corporation for the fiscal year ended 30 June 1998, in which result show a net loss after tax of about P847 Million, for submission to the stockholders during the annual meeting on 26 November 1998, which meeting was confirmed by the Board of Directors today.
