September 10, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2264-99 SUBJECT : Manulife Financial Corporation Approval of Listing Application The Exchange approved on September 8, 1999, the application of MANULIFE FINANCIAL CORPORATION (the "Company") for the secondary listing by way of introduction of 500,955,645 common shares , in line with the proposed demutualization of Manufacturers Life Insurance Company . The listing date and offer price shall be announced upon the submission of the Letters Patent of Conversion which confirms the effectivity of the demutualization. llcd For your information and guidance.
