September 9, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2256-99 SUBJECT : Air Philippines International Corporation This is with reference to a news article published in the September 8, 1999 issue of the Manila Standard which reported that Mr. William Gatchalian sold his stake in Air Philippines International Corporation ("AIR") to Mr. Lucio Tan. AIR, in a letter to the Exchange, clarified that: ". . . Please be advised that we are not aware of any sale of Mr. William T. Gatchalian's equity holdings in Air Philippines International Corporation (APIC) to Mr. Lucio Tan.
