Indicate the item numbers reported herein: Item 9 Other Events Resignation of a Director and President/COO The Board of Directors of A. Soriano Corporation ("Anscor") accepted the resignation of Jose C. Ibazeta as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company at its Board Meeting this morning. Mr. Ibazeta also resigned from the Anscor Board effective today. The Board elected its Chairman, Mr. Andres Soriano III, as President of A. Soriano Corporation in a concurrent capacity. Mr. Anton Roxas was elected to fill the vacancy in the Board. cdt Mr. Ibazeta submitted his resignation to give Mr. Andres Soriano III free hand in actively leading and managing Anscor and its operating subsidiaries, following Mr. Soriano's return fulltime to A Soriano Corporation, as both Chairman and Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") and President and Chief Operating Officer ("COO"). The Board likewise accepted the resignation of Atty. Benjamin V. Abela as Corporate Secretary and elected Atty.
