Exchange Road, Ortigas Center Pasig City Attention : Compliance and Regulatory Group Gentlemen : We wish to advise the Philippine Stock Exchange that the PNB Board of Directors in its meeting held today, February 25, 1998, approved the postponement of the Annual Stockholders' Meeting of the Bank from April 21, 1998 to May 26, 1998 to give time for the printing of the annual report and other required documents in compliance with the new SEC Full Disclosure Rules. cdlex For this purpose, the Board also approved that the record date for stockholders of record who shall be entitled to attend and vote at this meeting shall be April 27, 1998.
