("AGI") informed the Exchange that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved on September 2, 1999 its Amended Articles of Incorporation, particularly the amendment to Article II, reflecting the change in its primary purpose converting the Corporation to a holding company , and likewise the amendments to its secondary purposes authorizing the Corporation to engage in manufacturing, trading, real estate development, hotel operations, and to engage in the development, research, manufacture, marketing and distribution of technology and all technology-derived products and/or services. cdt Furthermore, the SEC approved on the same date the amendment to AGI's By- Laws changing the date of its annual stockholders' meeting from the present schedule of first Friday of June each calendar year to the fourth Friday of June each calendar year .
