(ILI) Business Page, Section B-5, September 3, 1999 issue Gentlemen: We refer to the news article captioned, "Interphil Laboratories revamps board of directors" authored by a certain Mr. Edu H. Lopez published in the issue of Manila Bulletin today, September 3, 1999. A portion of the said news article mentions that Interphil has revamped its Board of Directors which resulted to the resetting of the company's annual stockholders' meeting to November 16th. Please be informed that Interphil has not taken steps to reorganize its Board of Directors and has in fact concluded its Annual Stockholders' Meeting on June 3, 1999 at the Makati Sports Club. It bears emphasis that the people mentioned in the news article are not connected with Interphil. However, insofar as the article refers to the revenues and income of Interphil for the first half of the year, we confirm that the figures stated therein correctly pertain to the company.
