Ong Vice President Listings and Disclosure Group Gentlemen : Please be informed that the Board of Directors of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company at its regular meeting held on September 23, 1998 has declared a cash dividend of 2% of the outstanding capital stock payable to all common stockholders of record as of a date to be fixed by the President after approval of the same by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. The cash dividend shall first be applied in payment of any unpaid subscriptions, and the excess, if any, to be paid to the stockholders.
