September 2, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2197-99 SUBJECT : PICOP Resources, Inc . This is with reference to a news article published in the September 1, 1999 issue of the Philippine Star which reported that the government is planning to bid out 10 percent of its holdings in Picop Resources, Inc. ("PCP"). PCP, in a letter to the Exchange, clarified that: ". . . we wish to state that we did not have any information or prior knowledge on the matter. The intended action is the selling out by a stockholder/s (APT/NG) of their shares in Picop Resources, Inc.
