Buenaventura Supervisor, Disclosure Department RE : Atlantic Offers Creditors Shares In BW Resource Gentlemen : This is to make a clarification on the article entitled "Atlantic offers creditors shares in BW Resources" which appeared on Page B8 of the Philippine Daily Inquirer on its 30 August 1999 issue. Please be informed that there have been no negotiations between BW Resource and Atlantic Industries Inc. regarding the purchase by BW Resource Corp. of Atlanta Center and/or the settlement of the debts owned by its developer Atlanta Land Corp. At most, Atlantic Industries Inc. has made inquiries with BW Resource Corp. regarding this purchase but the status of the inquiry has remained at this inquiry stage.
