September 17, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2162-98 September 16, 1998 PHILIPPINE STOCK EXCHANGE DISCLOSURE DEPARTMENT Listings & Disclosure Group PSE Center, Exchange Road Pasig City Gentlemen : This is in reply to your fax message dated 14 September 1998 requiring RFM Corporation to confirm/clarify the news article "RFM semicon arm inks deal with Siemens" published in the 14 September 1998 issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. LLpr This is to confirm that Psi Technologies, Inc. (Psi), a subsidiary of RFM Corporation, signed on 7 September 1998, guaranteed contracts with the Munich based industry-giant, Siemens AG Semiconductors for five (5) years, and with its Malayian based subsidiary, Siemens Components for three (3) years, for the assembly and test of power semiconductors. Psi, a major world-wide supplier of power semiconductors, will package and test "intelligent MOS" in thru-hole and surface mount versions for industrial and automotive applications for Siemens Components (Malaysia), beginning the fourth quarter of 1998.
