Please be advised that the Bank has not yet received any official communication from the National Government in respect of the statement made by the Honorable Secretary of Finance Edgardo B. Espiritu. Moreover, since the stock rights offering of the Bank will commence only on September 6, 1999 and end on September 17, 1999, any indication as to who will or will not subscribe to said offering will only be apparent to the Bank at such time.
