August 24, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2091-99 August 23, 1999 SUBJECT : Metro Pacific Corporation In reply to the Exchange's query regarding a news article published in the August 23, 1999 issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer which reported that Ayala Land, Inc. ("ALI") and Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC) are getting closer to clinching a joint venture deal in the Global City project, Metro Pacific Corporation ("MPC"), in a letter to the Exchange, explained that: ". . . talks are premised on Ayala Land participating in one or more projects contained within the master plan for the project but outside of the 57-hectare Big Delta which is currently being developed by FBDC.
