September 4, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 2066-98 SUBJECT : Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation ("MVC"), through its counsel, requested the Exchange in a letter dated September 2, 1998, that the report earlier made to the Exchange on the buy-back of MVC shares totaling 250,000 last August 28 and August 31, 1998 be immediately cancelled. The letter further stated that MVC had, "in good faith, erroneously reported" the said purchase disclosed in Circular Nos. 2019-98 and 2033-98. According to MVC's counsel, "the mentioned purchases in fact did not take place". The error was confirmed to MVC by BPI Capital Corporation which acknowledged that "contrary to what they have previously reported, there were actually no transactions regarding said buy-back of MVC shares on August 28 and August 31, 1998 ". cdlex For your information.
