Indicate the item numbers reported herein: 4 Atok Big Wedge Co., Inc. informs the commission that in a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors of Atok-Big Wedge Co., Inc. held on August 06, 1998 at 5:00 p.m. the appointment of Mr. Teofilo R. Asuncion as Executive Vice-President was taken up. Atok-Big Wedge Co., Inc. redirected its Corporate Objective from mining and related venture to general investment retaining mining as a Secretary purpose. Demand for metallic minerals and precious metals in the world market is stagnant and the cost to produce is steadily going up. Technology is shifting to micronization hi-tech, high value, resulting to a lesser usage of these commodities. Relying only on one product makes Atok vulnerable to the cyclical characteristic of the market. Mr. Teofilo Asuncion, Jr., a BS Geology and MBA graduate with 30 years of Management Consultancy experience, was hired as Executive Vice-President to steer the company in these difficult times. His entry will re-energize the will of Atok to go forward, re-establish its vision and mission, its strategic thrust, improve its competitiveness for the remaining years of the 20th century and for the next millennium. His presence will definitely result to an efficiently run company and higher yield per share.
