Ong Vice President Listings and Disclosure Group Gentlemen : In compliance with the continuing disclosure requirements of the Exchange, we report that at the special meeting of the stockholders of Metro Pacific Corporation held on July 30, 1998, the creation and issuance of up to six billion warrants to subscribe for unissued shares of the capital stock of Metro Pacific Corporation, as well as the recommendation to vest upon the Company's Board of Directors the authority to set the specific terms and conditions of the warrants, the offering, issuance and exercise thereof, were duly approved by the stockholders of the Company.
