August 26, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1979-98 SUBJECT : GMCR, Inc . GMCR, Inc. ("GLO") informed the Exchange, in a letter dated August 25, 1998, that the Securities and Exchange Commission approved on August 20, 1998 its Amended Articles of Incorporation reflecting changes in the following: 1. Article First changing the corporate name from GMCR, Inc. to Globe Telecom, Inc .; 2. Article Seventh increasing the authorized capital stock from P750,000,000.00 , divided into 450,000,000 Class "A" and 350,000,0000 Class "B" shares, to P5,000,000,000.00 divided into 3,000,000,000 Class A and 2,000,000,000 Class "B" shares, with a par value of P1.00 per share. The change in the company's corporate name, using the same stock trading symbol, will be reflected in the Exchange's computer system (electronic board and ticker) on Friday, August 28, 1998 .
