August 24, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1954-98 SUBJECT : San Miguel Corporation San Miguel Corporation ("SMC") informed the Exchange, in a letter dated August 21, 1998, that the Board of Directors, in a regular meeting held on even date, declared a cash dividend of P0.20 per share to its stockholders of record as of September 25, 1998, payable on October 22, 1998. cdt SMC's Stock Transfer Books will be closed from September 26 to October 23, 1998.
