August 19, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1931-98 SUBJECT : Equitable Banking Corporation Equitable Banking Corporation ("EBC"), informed the Exchange through SEC Form 11-C dated August 18, 1998, that in its regular meeting on August 18, 1998, the Board of Directors of EBC approved the declaration of cash dividend of thirty centavos (P0.30) per share and extraordinary or special cash dividend of ten centavos (P0.10) per share, or a total of forty centavos (P0.40) per share, to its stockholders of record as of September 15, 1998, payable on or before October 15, 1998. cdlex For your information.
