July 29, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1893-99 SUBJECT : Dizon Copper-Silver Mines, Inc . Further to Circular for Brokers No. 1471-99 dated June 23, 1999, Dizon Copper-Silver Mines, Inc. ("DIZ") furnished the Exchange a copy of its SEC Form 34-A (Definitive Proxy Statement), in connection with its Annual Stockholders' Meeting which will be held on August 25, 1999 , at 2:00 p.m., at the Kalayaan Hall, Club Filipino, Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila. The meeting will be held for the following purposes: 1. To elect nine (9) shareholders to serve as directors for the ensuing year. 2. To transact such other business as may properly be brought before the meeting or any adjournment thereof. As previously announced, stockholders of record as of June 30, 1999 are entitled to notice of, and to vote at, said meeting. The company's annual report including the financial statement for the period ended December 1998, proxy statement and proxy form will be mailed on August 2, 1999. Any stockholder who does not expect to attend the meeting in person and desires to be represented thereat is requested to date and sign a proxy form which should be received by the Corporate Secretary for validation on or before August 20, 1999.
