We. refer to your fax letter today, July 28, 1999, regarding news article entitled "Uniwide gets a new 30-day reprieve on debt payments". cdll There is a pending motion before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the extension of the order of the SEC regarding suspension of all claims and actions against the Uniwide Group of Companies. There is likewise, a pending motion for the appointment of a receivership committee in relation to the petition filed by the Uniwide Group. However, to this time, we have not received any formal communication from our legal counsel whether the above motions had been acted upon.
