RE : Vitarich Corporation Gentlemen: This is in reply to your request for clarification/confirmation of the news article which appeared in today's issue of the Business World entitled "New investor wants to buy Vitarich stake in food chain". Please be informed that Vitarich Corporation ("VITA") has no knowledge of an alleged buyer who is willing to buy VITA's stake in Texas Chicken for P350 million. While some parties have requested VITA for information regarding Texas Chicken in the Philippines, such inquiries have not progressed into serious negotiations, much less an offer of a definite price. Since such inquiries have not gone beyond the stage of information gathering, there has been no material fact or event which VITA could report to the Exchange.
