August 6, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1838-98 SUBJECT : Ayala Corporation Additional Listing The Exchange approved the listing application of AYALA CORPORATION to list additional 1,653,791,716 common shares , with a par value of P1 . 00 per share , to cover the 20% stock dividend declaration to stockholders of record as of May 15, 1998 . However, actual listing of the 14,250,048 common shares , representing the 20% stock dividend of the 1995, 1996, 1997 Executive Stock Option Plan (ESOP) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOWN) shares, shall take effect upon full payment and listing of the ESOP and ESOWN.
