July 22, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1820-99 SUBJECT : Euro-Med Laboratories Phils . Inc . In reply to the Exchange's inquiry regarding a news article published in the July 21, 1999 issue of the Business World, which reported that Euro-Med Laboratories Phils. Inc. ("EURO") saw its earnings grow by 4.7% during the first six months of the year boosted by the improvement in sales, EURO, in a letter to the Exchange, clarified that: LLphil " . . .please be advised that the net sales for the period January 1-June 30, 1999 amounted to P318,492,787 which represented a 15% or Pesos 40,824,312 increase from the same period of last year. Net Income after tax for the period January 1 June 30, 1999 amounted to P88,765,200 which represented a 4.7% or Pesos 3,552,341 increase from the same period of last year. . . " For your information.
