Lacote Analyst, Disclosure Department Gentlemen : This refers to the news article captioned "Gov't poised to take over phone firm" published in today's issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Please be informed that Digitel has not received any formal notification from DOTC that it will take over the facilities presently being leased by Digitel. Likewise, as stated in the abovementioned news article Digitel is currently processing the settlement of the lease payment due to DOTC. Digitel is currently pursuing negotiation with the DOTC for the resolution of several issues affecting the peaceful possession and operation of facilities in some DOTC sites that were previously donated by local government units and which were subsequently revoked by the latter.
