July 28, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1755-98 SUBJECT : Republic Cement Corporation Additional Listing The Exchange approved the listing application of REPUBLIC CEMENT CORPORATION (the "Company") to list additional 200,000,000 common shares , with a par value of P1 . 00 per share , to cover the underlying shares of the P860 million worth of convertible notes issued to South Western Cement Ventures, Inc . Said convertible notes were already converted on March 6, 1998. cd Furthermore, the Exchange approved the Company's request to reduce the number of listed common shares by 1,354,119 . 5 common shares , consisting of 1,354,119 common shares representing the remaining underlying common shares of the unexercised warrants which matured on March 20, 1998 and 0.5 common share representing share listed by the Exchange as part of the 1997 50% stock dividend, but was not issued by the Company's transfer agent. aisadc In view thereof, the listing of the 200,000,000 common shares is set for Wednesday, July 29, 1998 .
