RE : Savoy Group's Investment Hike in BW Gentlemen: This is to comply with your letter dated 26 January 2000 regarding the above captioned matter. prcd Please be informed that there hat been no final or formal agreement between BW Resource Corporation and Savoy Group with regards to Savoy Group's plan to increase its investment in BW Resource Corporation. Negotiations regarding this matter has not yet been initiated. On the matter of Savoy's interest in the Metro Rail Transit III Project ("MRT"), BW Resource Corporation is at present not involved in Savoy Group's reported interest or plans in investing or getting involve in the MRT and/or other major infrastructure projects in the Philippines.
