July 14, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1719-99 SUBJECT : Centro Escolar University Further to Circular for Brokers No. 1626-99 dated July 5, 1999, Centro Escolar University ("CEU") furnished the Exchange a copy of its SEC Form 34-C (Definitive Information Statement), in connection with its Annual Stockholders' Meeting which will be held on July 27, 1999 , at 3:30 p.m., at the Philippine Columbian Association, Plaza Dilao, Paco, Manila. As previously announced, stockholders of record as of July 6, 1999 are entitled to notice of, and to vote at, said meeting.
