Our records show that 24,032,591 Meralco "A" shares are registered in the name of "Land Bank of the Philippines Trust Account #03-131 (Asset Privatization Trust)". 2. We have no direct information on the plan to bid out government-held shares. The matter is a pronouncement of an intention of a shareholder with which Meralco and its management are not privy to.
