REYNOLD ONG Vice President, Listing and Disclosure Group NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC On 22 April 1998, the Board of Governors of the Philippine Stock Exchange (the "Exchange") has adopted and approved the recommendation of the Listing Committee to delist all the securities of ACOJE MINING COMPANY, INC., for its failure to pay the required maintenance fee for the year 1998 despite several verbal and written demands, and for having been indefinitely suspended from trading by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) since April of 1987. Pursuant to the Requirements and Procedure for Listing and Delisting of Securities issued by the Brokers and Exchanges Department of the SEC, the SEC, in its letter of 08 June 1998, informed the Exchange that it interposes no objection to the delisting of the securities of Acoje Mining Company, Inc.
