July 5, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1622-99 July 2, 1999 Ms. Grace de Guia Assistant Manager, Disclosure Department The Philippine Stock Exchange PSE Center, Exchange Road Ortigas Center, Pasig City Gentlemen : Please be advised that at a special meeting of the Board of Directors of Asian Pacific Equity Corporation held today and in which a quorum existed, the Board accepted the resignations of Messrs. Tan Thian Koan and Nelson P. Chua as Directors. In the same meeting, upon motion duly made and seconded, the remaining Directors, namely, Messrs. Wilson Young, Harry Tan, Domingo Chua, Florencio Santos and Ma. Cecilia Pesayco, still constituting a quorum, elected Messrs. Lucio C. Tan and Mariano C. Tanenglian to the Board in lieu of the aforenamed Directors who resigned.
