PSE Center, Exchange Road Ortigas Center, Pasig City Gentlemen : We refer to your fax message dated July 13, 1998 which we received on even date regarding the news article in the Manila Bulletin captioned "Uniwide holds talks with potential foreign partner". cdll Please be informed that Uniwide has indeed received several proposals from foreign investors which have signified their interest to go into the retail business, in anticipation of the liberalization of the Retail Trade Law. Uniwide, however, is still in the process of having exploratory discussions with these prospective foreign partners and nothing final or definite has been reached as yet.
