July 9, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1578-98 SUBJECT : Interport Resources Corporation Further to Circular for Brokers No. 1418-98, Interport Resources Corporation ("IRC") furnished the Exchange a copy of SEC Form 34-C (Definitive Information Statement) in connection with its Annual Stockholders' Meeting which will be held on August 14, 1998 , at 9:00 a.m., at Isla 3, Shangri-La's Edsa Plaza Hotel, 1 Garden Way, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City. As previously disclosed, stockholders of record as of June 30, 1998 shall be entitled to notice of and to vote at said meeting.
