June 30, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1570-99 SUBJECT : Central Azucarera Don Pedro Central Azucarera Don Pedro ("SGR") informed the Exchange, through SEC Form 11-C, of a loan agreement with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), hereunder quoted: ". . . Item No . 9 (B) The registrant executed a loan agreement involving the sum of P80,000,000 with the Development Bank of the Philippines. The proceeds of the loan will be utilized to finance the environmental projects of the registrant. . . . Impact on the registrant's current and future operations, its financial position or results of operation . The environmental project which will be financed by the loan will ensure the registrant's compliance with the requirements of the environmental laws. It will thus financially benefit the registrant's current and future operations as compliance with the environmental laws will assure the registrant's continues (sic) operation. . . ."
