Almadro VP Compliance & Surveillance Group Gentlemen : There was an article that came Out in today's issue of the Daily Inquirer which reported that Microsoft, Inc. is buying 40% of MRC Allied Industries, Inc. Please be advised that there is no factual basis for the said report. MRC is finalizing negotiations for the acquisition of 2 major internet service providers. It has engaged the services of ATR Kim Eng for financial advice and to prepare an investment plan to be present to potential strategic partners, preferably those with existing internet and e-commerce business in the USA. LLpr MRC has Likewise appointed a law firm in the USA to assist in identifying a strategic partner which it will pursue aggressively as soon as the investment plan is finalized.
