June 29, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1539-99 June 28, 1999 Philippine Stock Exchange Philippine Stock Exchange Centre Exchange Road, Pasig City Metro Manila, Philippines Attention: Compliance & Surveillance Group Gentlemen : This has reference to your letter of 28 June 1999 requesting a full, fairly, timely and accurate disclosure of material information that may affect the value and trading of securities in the light of an observed unusual movement in the trading of OMICO shares this morning. Earlier this afternoon, the Company filed SEC Form 11-C disclosing to the Exchange the events that transpired during the Annual Stockholders' Meeting held on 25 June 1999 relating, among others, to the election of the members of the Board of Directors and Executive officers of the Company. We are not aware of any other material information previously undisclosed that may have affected the value and trading of OMICO shares or caused the unusual movement in today's trading.
