Issuance of Convertible Bonds On 26 January 1999, the Registrant signed a Subscription Agreement with Rhinestone Limited, a major foreign investor within the Kuok Group, for a private placement of up to US$50 Million Convertible Bonds. The Bonds, with a term of three (3) years, are convertible into the Registrant's common shares.
