January 24, 2000 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 144-00 SUBJECT : Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation ("MVC") advised the Exchange that the Labor Union of its Iligan operations has declared a labor strike on January 20, 2000 after a deadlock in the Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations. MVC management has assured customers that deliveries of company products will continue unhampered as its depots which are scattered all over the country have sufficient inventories and are not under the jurisdiction of the Iligan labor bargaining unit. prcd Simultaneously, MVC filed a petition to the Secretary of Labor to assume jurisdiction of the case.
