Grace de Guia Assistant Manager, Disclosure Dept . Gentlemen : We reply to your fax message dated 10 June 1999 requiring Anscor to "confirm/clarify the accuracy/veracity" of and to make a disclosure on the news article which appeared in Business World of 10 June 1999 entitled "Market Abuzz with news of PLDT purchase of Home Cable." Please be addressed that Anscor cannot confirm what appeared in the subject news because Anscor does not control Home Cable and its controlling shareholders and other interest holders. As far as Anscor is concerned, there are discussions for the purchase of its interest in Home Cable with interest and parties, but the discussions have not been conclude yet.
