June 10, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1367-99 SUBJECT : San Miguel Corporation San Miguel Corporation ("SMC") clarified to the Exchange a news article entitled "San Miguel reported to be looking at taking a stake in Singapore firm" published in the June 10, 1999 issue of Business World. The article reported that SMC is said to be interested to acquire more than 20% stake of Singapore based Overseas Chinese Banking Corp. in beverage firm Fraser & Neave Ltd. LLpr In its letter, SMC stated that: ". . . There have been no talks between the Company and Overseas Chinese Banking Corp. regarding the beverage firm Fraser & Neave Ltd. . ." For your information.
