January 26, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 135-99 SUBJECT : JG Summit Holdings, Inc. Additional Listing The Exchange approved on April 22, 1998 the 1:2 Stock Rights Offering of JG SUMMIT HOLDINGS, INC. (the "Company" ) to offer 2,060,921,728 common shares, with a par value of P1.00 per share, at an offer price of P2.00 per share to stockholders of record as of May 15, 1998. The first tranche offering, consisting of 515,230,468 common shares was listed on August 3, 1998 per Circular Number 1773-98 dated July 30, 1998. In view of these events, the Exchange is now listing an additional 514,832,703 common shares with a par value of P1.00 per share, to cover the fully paid portion of the second tranche of the 1:2 Stock Rights Offering to stockholders of record as of May 15, 1998 at an offer price of P2.00 per share.
