Gentlemen : In relation to your memo requesting for a clarification of several newspaper articles announcing President Estrada's support of the PEA-AMARI Joint Venture Agreement, please be informed that we have no knowledge of any formal endorsement made as of this time. As we understand the announcement of support was made as a result of an ambush interview during the inauguration of the P21 million fish port in Barangay Looc, Cardona, Rizal. Similar announcements have been done previously by the President since December of last year. LLphil As we understand, our contract is still under review by the office of the President. We have no knowledge if the same has already been completed.
