May 28, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1172-98 SUBJECT : Anglo Philippine Holdings Corporation Further to Circular No. 1036-98 dated May 15, 1998, Anglo Philippine Holdings Corporation ("APO") furnished the Exchange on May 27, 1998 a copy of SEC Form 34-A (Definitive Proxy Statement) in connection with its Annual Stockholders' Meeting which will be held on June 25, 1998 , at 4:00 p.m., at the Santan Room of the EDSA Plaza Hotel, 1 Garden Way, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City. As previously announced, stockholders of record as of May 25, 1998 are entitled to notice of, and to vote at, said meeting.
